Methanol can be used in road, rail, and marine transportation. It can be more affordable and reliable than electric vehicles (EVs) in some situations, like long-haul transportation. 




Methanol engines can be as efficient as diesel engines without the diesel emissions.


Energy

Methanol can be used in boilers, process heating modules, tractors, and commercial vehicles. 


Cooking

Methanol can be used as a cooking fuel in stoves and canisters that don't require pipes or regulators.

Environmental impact

Methanol can reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 80% and carbon dioxide emissions by up to 95% compared to fossil fuels.

Production

Methanol can be produced from a variety of sources, 

  • agricultural products, 

  • municipal waste, 

  • wood, and biomass. 

  • from chemical recycling of carbon dioxide. 

 

Safety

Methanol has a lower risk of flammability compared to gasoline. 


Cost

 Methonl fuel  reduce one’s fuel bill by at least 10%, lower vehicular pollution levels by over 30%.
