Ozobots - Educational  bots

Ozobot is a small, smart robot designed to introduce students to coding and robotics in a fun, hands-on way,

In its basic form, the Ozobot uses optic sensors to follow a drawn black line. The addition of color codes allows the robot to change direction or speed and allows students to create cool moves like a backwalk or tornado.

Nader Hamda sets out to make small robots with a big mission. His 10-year-old daughter names the project Ozobot. After two years of testing and prototyping, Bit—the original Ozobot—is unveiled at CES in Las Vegas, Aug 2014.

Key Features and Functionality:

Programmable:

Ozobots can be programmed through color codes drawn on paper or via the OzoBlockly platform, allowing users to control its movements and actions.

Screen-Free Coding:

The color code method is a screen-free way to learn coding, making it accessible for young learners.

Interactive Learning:

Ozobots encourage hands-on learning and problem-solving, fostering creativity and collaboration among students.

Versatile Applications:

Ozobots can be used in various subjects, including math, science, art, and language arts, promoting a multidisciplinary approach to education.

Scalable Learning:

Ozobot offers a range of levels, from beginner to advanced, allowing students to progress at their own pace.

Ozobot Products:

Ozobot Evo:

A more advanced model with enhanced features like line following, color detection, and programming capabilities.

Ozobot Bit:

A smaller, simpler model, ideal for introducing coding concepts to younger learners.

Ozobot Challenge Mats:

Specially designed mats that provide real-world scenarios and challenges for students to program their Ozobot Evo robots.

Ozobot STEAM Kits:

Kits that include ready-to-go lessons and activities, designed to align with educational standards and engage students in hands-on learning.

OzoGoes to the Sun, help learn about how the movements of the Sun and Moon affect different phenomena on Earth with OzoGoes to the Sun, Earth & Moon.

Ozobot STEAM Kits offer ready-to-go creative and educational activities that encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration through practicing real-world applications.
