STEM STEAM STREAM

STEM education emphasizes the integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics to prepare students for a technologically driven world, promoting holistic and interdisciplinary learning.

Goal: To foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills.

Example: Designing a bridge using engineering principles and mathematical calculations. 


STEAM adds "Arts" which foster creativity & self expression.

Goal:

To develop well-rounded individuals with both analytical and creative skills.

Example:

Creating a play or a song to explain a scientific concept or designing a technological solution with artistic elements. 


 STREAM adds "Reading" and/or "Writing" to the STEM foundation, which promote literacy & communication skills.

Goal:

To create students who are not only technically proficient but also skilled communicators and lifelong learners.

Example:

Conducting research on a scientific topic and writing a report, or using literature to explore engineering concepts.
