Immortal Human

RoboCop - A dying cop's brain was transferred to a robot, called RoboCop. RoboCop became a favourite to his city, but continued struggling with memory of his family and friends.

Could Humans Live Forever Inside Robots?

What if your body could die, but a version of your mind could continue living inside a machine?

Elon Musk has suggested that this could one day become possible.

Technology

1)First, there are brain-computer interfacesv- Neuralink

Neuralink is developing brain implants that record neural activity and translate it into digital commands. Today, the goal is primarily medical: helping people with paralysis control computers, phones, and robotic devices using their thoughts.

If scientists could eventually record far more information from the brain, they might be able to capture aspects of memory, behavior, and brain activity in digital form.

2) Humanoid robots.

Tesla is developing Optimus, a general-purpose humanoid robot designed to operate in the physical world.

Challenge - We still don't know how to reproduce a human mind.

The human brain contains around 86 billion neurons and an incredibly complex web of connections. Scientists do not yet fully understand how consciousness, memories, personality, and subjective experience arise from that system.

And even if we could make a perfect digital copy of your brain, would that copy actually be you?Or would it simply be another entity with your memories and personality?

That question could become one of the biggest philosophical problems of the future.

For Now

Neuralink can read certain brain signals, and robots can already perform increasingly complex tasks—but transferring a complete human consciousness remains far beyond current science.

Future

But if brain-computer interfaces, artificial intelligence, and robotics continue advancing, the boundary between humans and machines could become very different from what it is today.

'We can build a robot body for the human mind.'
