Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope
A NASA infrared observatory designed to study dark energy, exoplanets, and the large-scale structure of the universe.
Named after Nancy Grace Roman, NASA’s first chief of astronomy and widely celebrated as the "mother of Hubble".

Features a field of view 100 times larger than the Hubble space Telescope while using a primary mirror of the exact same size (7.9 feet or 2.4 meters in diameter).
A massive 300-megapixel camera equipped with 18 detectors to capture sweeping panoramic views of the cosmos.
A technological demonstration tool designed to block out blinding starlight so scientists can directly image nearby exoplanets.
Dr. Julie McEnery is the Senior Project Scientist for NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope mission. Based at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, she is the leading scientific authority coordinating the mission's extensive research goals.
